SCE service area includes portions of 15 counties and hundreds of cities and communities in a 50,000-square-mile service area within Central, Coastal and Southern California.
PanGIS staff responsible for coordinating data sharing between departments and agencies, performs complex spatial analysis using advanced tools, develops new methods/process improvements, maintains GIS models for efficiency, coordinates and reviews work with GIS techs and subcontractors, documents GIS processes, conducts version management, designs and implements GIS databases, and regularly performs QA/QC review for completeness and accuracy. Staff provide near real-time planned and emergent work against assets. GIS staff work in the environmental field and are knowledgeable regarding current regulatory compliance requirements (CEQA/SB18/52 /NEPA/NHPA Sections 106/110) and professional technical and ethical standards for geospatial data.
