The County of San Diego, Department of Public Works proposes to replace the existing substandard and deficient Pamo Bridge (Bridge No. 57C‐0729) with a new bridge designed to current standards. The project, which is located over Santa Ysabel Creek approximately 5.5 miles north of Ramona, California, proposes to replace the existing one lane concrete bridge with a two-lane bridge. In support of the preliminary engineering design for the project, the County is conducting geotechnical investigations along the proposed alignment. The County is receiving Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) bridge replacement funding for the project; therefore, the project is a federal undertaking.
