Caltrans SR-76 – San Diego County, CA

Caltrans SR-76

Project Overview:

Caltrans needed to widen SR-76 which runs through the San Luis Rey River Valley in northern San Diego County; an area rich with cultural and natural resources. 

Scope of Work:

PanGIS participated in a number of studies during the planning phases of the project.  These include: survey of advanced mitigation parcels, Extended Phase I pedestrian survey and shovel pit testing of cultural resources in the APE, and producing GIS databases and maps with geomorphologists and geophysicists to show potential routes with geology and geophysical tests.
