GIS Proximity Analysis of Four Corners Water and Archaeological Resources

The Ancestral Pueblo people lived in the U.S. Four Corners region from ~550 to 1300 A.D. Where did they choose to erect permanent structures? Evidence of water management practices suggests control of water resources was a critical factor. This study uses geospatial analysis tools of land cover classification, watershed analysis and proximity tools to investigate.
