Alliant University Property Due Diligence/Constraints Evaluation for Historic-Era Structures

Project Overview:

The property located in the City of San Diego (City), is about 37 acres and many of the buildings were constructed between 1966 and 1972, requiring an assessment due to their date of construction. The project site falls under City jurisdiction, therefore, the City guidelines for cultural resources were followed.

Scope of Work:

Senior staff historian conducted a cultural resources due diligence/constraints analysis to determine the age of buildings and if any may be significant. Staff conducted the preliminary research on the buildings, conducted a site visit, and wrote the historic-era cultural resources constraints analysis report. The 2nd phase of the project will be conducting assessment evaluations for any buildings found in phase 1 to be potentially eligible for the National Register, California Register, and local registers of historic resources.
