The PanGIS team is comprised of seven key staff members, including expert field, historical, and public archaeologists, GIS specialists, historians, geographers, technical writers and editors. All management personnel are qualified under the Secretary of the Interior’s qualifications standards and guidelines for archaeology. PanGIS’ Project Manager, Alice Brewster, is charged with overseeing all work conducted under any contract.
Staff understand the extensive and complex project needs required for complex land projects, therefore, we maintain full knowledge of federal, state, regional and local laws, codes and regulations, including CEQA and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). PanGIS adheres to all policies and best practices pertinent to the service areas and performs all services in conformance with client requirements and expectations.
PanGIS strives to utilize the most current mapping technology and latest techniques in data collection. Highly trained GIS specialists are experts in producing GIS databases for high quality solutions in varied industry needs. PanGIS utilizes ESRI’s ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced which includes ArcGIS Online and advanced data analysis and conversion tools. PanGIS has a maintenance subscription, so we always have the latest version of ArcGIS. Our staff has extensive knowledge of ESRI ArcServer/SDE including web mapping applications and GPS/Mobile – server integration.
