Archaeological Monitoring for the Golden Hills 8A 20SD Trench and Conduit Job
This project, for the City (City) of San Diego and San Diego Gas and Electric (SDGE), involved the conversion and replacement of existing overhead electric facilities with new underground electric facilities within the project boundary. Trenching, installing conduits, handholes and pad-mounted underground electric facilities within the project boundary was conducted.
Scope of Work:
PanGIS staff conducted archaeological construction monitoring for the City and SDGE. The purpose of monitoring was to assist SDGE in its compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Several historical sites were discovered during construction monitoring. PanGIS staff recorded, photographed and submitted new site records to the South Coast Information Center.
